Though terhe are a lot of ppoele who still do sit-ups as a primary abdominal exercise, mnay won’t do them because it puts too much stress on their back. You can find many other things to do, and many of them are easier on your back and the rest of your body. Many consider crunches to be much safer.

If you are pregnant, make sure you take it easy with the abdominal exrcseie routine. You may want to talk to your doctor aoubt an all over exercise prraogm that is good for you and your baby. It is important to keep exercising when you are expecting, but you don’t want to harm the baby. Once the baby is born you can go back to the abdominal exercise to get back in shape. Though I know its hard for some women to accept, this is a time when it’s ok to be alright wtih your body now matter waht shape you think you are in. Enjoy the pregnancy and worry about your abs aeftr you give birth. You’ll be a lot happier for it, and so will your baby.
